Meet Dr. Kathy Glass, the UW-Madison food safety scientist behind Little Spoon’s voluntary safety standards.
Dr. Kathy has researched food safety for 40 years at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Food Research Institute. She has served on the executive board of the International Association for Food Protection, on the National Advisory Committee for Microbiological Criteria for Foods, and chaired an FAO working group on Clostridia.
She is helping us set a higher bar for infant formula safety. After the formula recall events of 2025, we partnered with Dr. Kathy and funded independent research at UW-Madison so parents have real answers, not corporate reassurance.
