Your questions, answered.
- Coming up with healthy and easy cold lunch ideas for your kids everyday can feel exhausting especially if you have picky eaters— lunchbox fatigue is real! Lunchers are bento box-style meals built to make lunchtime a parenting win. Fun, craveable meals for your kiddo and balanced, nutritous, easy grab-and-go lunches made to your standards.Lunchers are refrigerated, build-it-yourself meals that capture your kids' imaginations. Made junk-free and with over 10g of protein in each meal, Lunchers require no heating and are veggie-packed and nutritious, all while offering the independence and fun your kiddo craves.
- Absolutely! We've made sure our Lunchers are school-friendly by steering clear of peanuts and tree nuts. Some Lunchers may include soy, milk, and wheat. For those details, taking a peek at the nutrition labels on our packages is the best way to go. We want to make sure you feel confident and informed about what's in your child's lunch box!
- Lunchers are fresh so it's important to keep them stored in the fridge to maintain that quality. When sealed, Lunchers can stay fresh for up to 14 days. If you've already opened a Luncher, make sure to transfer any leftovers to an airtight container and consume them within 3 days.To ensure safety, we advise not leaving Lunchers out of the fridge for more than 2 hours (or 1 hour if it's above 75°), unless they are stored in an insulated lunchbox along with a chilled freezer ice pack. While freezing Lunchers is possible, it may alter their taste and texture, so we recommend keeping them in the fridge and closed until it's time to build and enjoy your meal. This way, your kiddos can savor the best taste of Lunchers.
- To maintain the freshness of Lunchers, it's best to store them in the fridge until it's time to pack up. For optimal results, use an insulated lunch box or bag along with frozen gel packs to keep the food cold and safe until lunchtime. Pro tip: Include a frozen Smoothie in the box to serve as both an ice pack and a snack!
- If you'd like to heat any items in your Lunchers, we recommend transferring them to a microwave-safe dish before heating. Once heated, simply return the items to an airtight container and pack them inside an insulated lunchbox.
- At Little Spoon, we take pride in offering options with no or significantly lower added sugar than leading brands. While some components of Lunchers contain small amounts of added sugar from sources like fruit purees, maple syrup, and agave, we keep it low because your kiddo is sweet enough! Check out the Nutrition Facts of each Luncher to see the exact breakdowns here.
- Lunchers were specially crafted to cater to busy kiddos on the go, whether they're with family or at school. Our thoughtfully designed packaging is easy for little fingers to open, offering convenience while ensuring safety and freshness with its secure seal.
