Oatmeal Baby Cereal Nutrition label

  • Our baby cereal is completely cooked - to serve just add breastmilk, formula or water.

Mix + Serve:

  • Scoop desired amount of cereal into a bowl. Add breastmilk, infant formula, or water and mix to desired consistency. First feeding: Mix 2 Tbsp. cereal with 4-5 Tbsp. breastmilk or infant formula.

Microwave:

  • To serve warm, heat liquid at MEDIUM (50%) power for 15-30 seconds. Mix heated liquid with cereal, stirring well. Test temperature before feeding.
NOTE: Breastmilk should not be microwaved as it breaks down its composition.

We set best-in-class standards for our baby food and test for 500+ toxins and contaminants.

Little Spoon is the first and only brand to set clear standards for safety and test every batch of our baby food.

Our promise? We test our baby food for heavy metals, pesticides, glyphosate, and plasticizers. And if our results don't meet our standards - we won't sell it. Peace of mind for you and the best for your baby.

We voluntarily hold ourselves to rigorous testing standards inspired by the European Union (EU).

No current U.S. regulations exist for baby cereal, however the FDA has established an action level of 100 PPB for inorganic arsenic in infant rice cereals. At Little Spoon, we're raising the bar with testing limits that deliver on peace of mind.

Did you know?

The US does not have federal regulations in place for limiting the level of chemical contaminants in baby food. In fact, companies are not even required to test their products. That’s why we took matters into our own hands.

See What Our Customers Say:

Your questions, answered.

While babies don't necessarily need cereal, it's a great way to introduce solids and ensure they get essential nutrients like iron, calcium, zinc, and Vitamin D. Our Baby Cereal is certified organic, rice-free and packed with a whopping 13 vitamins and minerals to support your baby's growth and development (while being gentle on the tummy, of course). Our customers have been asking us for years to create a cereal they can trust, so we decided to make our own with equally rigorous testing standards. We test for heavy metals (lead, mercury, cadmium and arsenic) + an additional 551 toxins and contaminants. Quality, safety and peace of mind you'd expect from Little Spoon.
Our Baby Cereal is made with the highest quality whole grain oats, barley, and millet—no rice here! It’s certified organic and Clean Label Project purity award certified, so you can trust that every bite meets our high quality and safety standards. Transparency is at the core of everything we do which is why we test our finished product to ensure it meets our safety standards. Each serving is packed with 13 essential vitamins and minerals to support brain and bone development, immune function, and your baby's overall growth.
Absolutely! We meet the highest safety and quality standards so you can feel confident feeding your little one. Our cereal is rice-free, heavy metal tested, Clean Label Project Purity Award certified and USDA certified organic. Transparency is at the heart of everything we do—we're the first and only baby food company to set publicly available testing standards, inspired by the European Union. We voluntarily hold ourselves to higher internal safety standards than required. You can trust that we're committed to providing the safest, highest-quality products for your baby.
You can start introducing our Baby Cereal to your baby at 4 months old as they embark on their starting solids journey. It’s a perfect first food! Always chat with your pediatrician to make sure you have a starting solids plan for your little one.
Yes! Our Baby Cereal is fortified with essential vitamins and minerals, including iron. One serving provides half of the daily value of iron, which is especially important for breastfed babies.
Our Baby Cereal includes a mix of grains—barley's in there, which means gluten is too. Every baby's different, so if you're navigating allergens (or just feeling unsure), your pediatrician's the best go-to for peace of mind.
