Our friends at<\/span> Primary<\/span><\/a> make the soft solid-color basics you probably already own in six colors, and every Halloween they put out hundreds of free no-sew costume how-tos built on top of them. This year two of them are ours: a ravioli and a chicken nugget.<\/span><\/p>\n

Both are genuinely doable. Think: felt or foam, a hot glue gun, and a Primary base outfit you may already have in a drawer.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Ravioli<\/b><\/h2>\n

Two stuffed squares of tan felt worn sandwich-board style over a white outfit, with a red felt blob on a headband for the sauce. Sized for<\/span> kids<\/span><\/a>, and about as low-effort as a homemade costume gets.<\/span><\/p>\n

Then dinner that\u2019s just as easy:<\/span> our Spinach and Cheese Ravioli<\/span><\/a> is the same shape, minus the felt.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

The Chicken Nugget<\/b><\/h2>\n

Two nugget shapes cut from upholstery foam, covered in yellow faux sherpa and joined at the shoulders and sides. Golden, slightly lumpy, immediately recognizable. This one’s<\/span> built for babies<\/span><\/a>, so it’s a good first-Halloween option.<\/span><\/p>\n

For pre-trick-or-treating sustenance,<\/span> our Chicken Super Nuggets<\/span><\/a> sneak veggies right into the nugget itself.\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

And if your kid wants something quirkier\u2026<\/b><\/h2>\n
